Join the giant community litter picking event in Hull

A community litter picking event is happening on June 4th at Hessle Foreshore, East Yorkshire. The event dubbed, The Big Clean Up Hull is set to transform the environmental beauty spot and remove the build-up of waste in the area.

The event is being run by Hull-based recyclers ReWorked, who are vowing to recycle every single piece of plastic collected on the day. The waste will be made into children’s chairs, planters, mud kitchens & shelters for local schools.

It’s a stunning spot for a leisurely walk, but sadly trash is creating an eyesore & threatening the health of its animal population.

The Big Clean Up event has been organised on Friday, June 4th, during the school half-term as a family-friendly event. The ReWorked team will be on-hand between 12PM and 3PM to provide insight into the recycling process, help clean up, provide litter picking equipment and remove the waste at the end.
